Hello. I recently bought a cold steel jade lion gim. I thought it was a nice sword and good value for money!
Anyway, only after I received the sword I discovered that the sword did not come with the above mentioned attachment apparatus (European equivalent=frog??)
I just find that unlike katanas and daos which look great on sword stands, jians look better when hung on the wall and this apparatus will greatly help.
Would anyone know where I can get one of those stuff?
Thanks in advance!

Yes Or those ones that come free with some swords (if I can find one). Thank you! That hook looks great!

Thanks Timo Nieminen. I had a question about mounting a broad sword but scanned for previous posts before posting. Your link also answered questions that I had but not included in my question. Such as why I’ve never seen a scabbard during a demonstration. And the attachment I’ve come up with on my own left much to be desired because the scabbard flopped around out of control and that I’d be better off without it. Now that I know for sure the correct attachment I’ll make one as by the time I receive one from Mandarin Mansion that sells for €20 I’ll have something approaching $45-$50 in when receiving.
