my brother in law picked up a new forge for me at a swap meet a few weeks ago, droped it round this week and i rebuilt it :lol: now i have to fire it up and see how it goes :twisted: Attachments:

Are you going to coat the bottom with fire cement or leave as is ?

for now gonna leave it, as originally they aren't coated, gonna test it out and go from there

I had some 6mm plate for the top of my old fire brick forge years ago, never used the blower 'tho, cooked up a storm every now and then, had to bend the edges up to stop the snags from rolling off :lol:
