Windlass Tempering Problems

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but it's been bothering me for some time now and I can't find any clear answers.
Me and my friends have been collecting Windlass swords for about 10 years now. We have many different brands as well but Windlass seems to work the best for us. I absolutely love them, but something has been concerning me lately about their tempering.
Usually our windlass blades start out with a beautiful temper that usually lasts for the first several years of use; and I mean cutting things from water bottles, to pumpkins, to the occasional tatami. But I've begun to notice that after a couple of years, the blade starts to warp or bend during even light cutting... and this only ever happens to our windlass swords.
I have a couple myself, and they have never failed me. But recently they've been staying bent when I cut light targets... as if the stress from the blow isn't absorbed, instead the blade sets and I have to bend it back. The weird part is that it takes several targets in a row before I start to notice a warp, otherwise the blade will bounce back to true and it still holds an edge.
They seem to still hold a temper, yet for some reason any little bits of stress towards the flat will cause them to throw a fit way to easily. I'm a bit upset because my windlass swords are my absolute favorites in my collection, and are about 8-10 years old. Could it be minor metal fatigue, or something else? Can I find a fix to this issue? Could these swords keep going, or should I retire them and find something else?
Thank you for any feedback!
