I think you misunderstood - I wasn't asking why it was made at 1/4"...I was saying I don't know why I remember it's 1/4". Don't you have it yet? I've been looking forward to your thoughts on it.
Those aren't the specs for the MBB M22...if I were to guess, they look like the numbers for the ZT Apokatana. (Different piece, different maker, different site - what happened there, lol?)

I wish I could blame it on grampa's cough syrup lol but I don't drink so it was lack of sleep and multi posting / reading. yeah its from the Apokatana.. I was looking at another post I guess awkward.. but now as I see the one you are talking about, yes you can have different thickness and is short like he wanted so I get it now hehe. Mines going to be made out of 80crv2 14 inch blade 8 inch handle, its similar to 5160 in chemistry like they use but I went with 3/16 as its not much thinner to 1/4 and will slice more vs chop but its top heavy for easier cutting / hacking. sorry for the confusion with the very wrong specs I posted :S

A year old topic but for future reference i suggest dawsonknives.com for tactical blades. They do custom stuff aswell.
