I finally managed to buy a Masahiro Bamboo. Since reading about it in Paul's Buyers Guide article I have been anxious to get my hands on one. I am VERY pleased with it.
I am buying another one to serve as the basis of a customization.
For the most part, my introduction to collecting swords was through Paul's SBG. It provides a much-needed, feet on the ground guide for beginners.
Thanks Paul!

Hey iaido22, me again. I just got my masahiro bamboo a few days ago. If your looking on e-bay type in "hand forged" and look for one that has something about a "core wrap" (cant remember exactly). You can also look at the review posted at sbg and look at the pictures and kind of match them up also. I've heard that "handforgedkatana" and "sunpoint" are two sellers that have the bamboo. I bought mine from handforgedkatana and they are very easy to deal with. Hope this helps.
