Has anyone here owned/handled any of the following? I want to pick one of these up. Windlass Bunker Hill Sword Windlass English Cutlass British Hanger model of 1742 (supplied by G Gedney Godwin, Inc)
I'm aware the Bunker Hill is no longer in production, but I know where to find one. Help a man build up his sharp and pointy collection.

I've been curious about their English Cutlass for a while now. There seems to be several models, like the ones you named, that look very similar and are also of Indian manufacture.

After doing some more homework I went and ordered an English Cutlass from Kult of Athena. I believe all are Indian make. But Godwin's stock are sourced from 2 different places. I believe the lesser costing one is Deepeeka, and unsure of the make of the more expensive.

Some of Gedney's stock is provided by United States Sword and Uniform. The items are produced for USSU in India. They ar4 more or less on a par with Jodpuhr producers. I don't own any of these. QC your best bet is to start with Windlass current inventory stuff. If you guess wrong at least you won't have commited too much money to your project. Deepeeka is almost unaninmously a display maker with poor sword dynamics.

Thanks Dave, Figures that USSU is reworking their site now so I can't check them out. I fired off emails to all the potential sources and Kult's people gave me the best answers. So now I wait for my order to arrive. The wait will be horrible cause I want it in my hands to make with some cutting, and I ordered the sharpening service they offer so I got to wait longer for that. Maybe 2 weeks all told. Is there a formula to how reviews are done here? I'll maybe try my hand at it once it arrives.

USSU (Gary Beauregard) is old school. Been in the business +20 years. Not necessarily a good thing. Got involved in his production of a British M1853 cav sword for civil war reenactors. The delivered sword was .75 lbs over weight. Looked pretty but was a dud sword dynamically. I was pissed; most of the reenactor didn't know the difference. My experience with KoA sharpening is they ship on Friday and you get by Wens following week. Yeah, 2d week. There is guidance on how to produce a sword review at the top of the thread page. Need pictures! Check out some of the reviews that get lots of looks to see what works. Whatever: have fun with it.

Given that info, I feel I made the best choice in this situation. Ordered on friday, and haven't received a notice of shipping yet, so I will guess they're closed weekends and haven't yet attended to my product. Will be nice if it gets here as fast as you said.
