Hi,
What are the current uS Army regulation specs for this sword?
Stainless or carbon blade Tempered or non tempered Leather or steel scabbard Cast bronze or wire wrapped handle Etc.
Can anyone post an official link or copy of regulation specs?
Windlass claims one of their models is regulations specs, but can this claim be verified?

This question came up about a year ago and is buried in the data base somewhere. Windlass does make service sabers and bayonets. Sorry, need to fish up the old dialog and citations....

Windlass gave me this solicitation as a reference: www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity ... ad1a1f1ed4 Which was awarded to MARLOW WHITE UNIFORMS INC: www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity ... f&_cview=0 They sell swords made by WKC, Solingen, Germany: www.militarysabers.com/us-army-nco-sword.htmlBy the way, Windlass confirmed that they do not have formal Army spec for the sword: > The Army NCO we have was made directly from a physical sample from the previous contractor. We deconstructed > the sword and built it from all the same materials and measurements as this contract sample. However we do not > have the AR section it may have come from on hand. Andrew
