I was at an artifact show last weekend and got a Japanese officers sword, and a dagger that I can't identify. It's about 18 inches long, wood handle and a serpentine, double edged blade. I thought maybe Morrocan or Arabic, but can't find anything comparable. No marks on blade at all. Anyone give me a clue where to start ?

Hard to tell without a pic or more detailed description. From the sound of it though my first guess would be a Kris They're pretty common.I see them at arms fairs regularly. Attachments:

My first thought was a Kris as well, but when I started searching, all I saw were the ones that have a thin shank and a wide blade in the middle. It is similar to the one posted and I will post a picture as soon as I find the battery charger for my camera ! It may be a repro, but I didn't pay much so it was worth a shot. I did get a nice mother of pearl handled dagger marked Austria with it as well.

Second photo is of the Kris that one of my fathers employees brought back from WWII. He was an engineer at North American Aviation in KC Kansas and when one of his boys went on active duty he made them a Bowie knife from B-25 aircraft parts and told them "when you come back, bring me one". This is one of the knives they brought him.

Not a kris/keris; just call it a "wavy-bladed dagger". Looks Philippine. Otherwise, could be Mexican or European, or possibly an Indian replica (but the blade looks too good to be Indian (they tend to be pretty nasty tourist replicas)). Not African or Middle Eastern.
The other one is a talibon/talibong, Philippine.
