I gathered up suggestions and came up with this. 1095 spring steel. No guards, no choil or ricasso. I did the handle for a strong secure grip in the primary hold (finger grooves) but left it so that multiple holding positions are still fine. Full length 1/4" square spine for whacking, scratching, beating, etc. It's kinda like a chef's knife that you can use for a prybar. Specs; It's 13" overall and weighs 21.5oz. The full tanged blade is 8" X 2" X 1/4" thick. The bolster and pommel sides are 1018 steel welded to the tang. Thanks for looking, Mike

Funny you should compare it to a chef's knife. The first thought I had when I saw the pictures was "Rambo's kitchen knife". Great design as always. All your designs look like they'd be at home in a WWI trench or attached to a marine's vest.

Great choice on the handle, and just a really nice shape overall. Looks like it has some weight.
