Hi Everyone,
I have a Windlass European sword, and it is quite tip heavy, the POB being about 4 inches from the cross guard. I feel it really should be a hand and a half sword.
I was wondering, is there a way to extend the handle of a sword, to make it turn into a hand and a half sword?
Thanks guys,
-Nirathak

A POB of 4 inches for a single handed sword is really quite normal. There's not really a good way to lengthen the handle while keeping the POB at 4 inches from the cross guard. I guess you could grind the shoulders lower to make more room for the handle and then reduce the weight of the hilt components, but that could ruin the harmonics of the sword. If I were you I'd sell the windlass and just buy a bastard sword.
