Wow, very nice! How is the grip holding up? I hope it is not cracked through and through? I wonder what the oak leaves are doing on a Navy implement. Really a de luxe meatcleaver that. Did you have a lot of work on it? Love the etching. It is old school handywork, not the factory etch one sees on later blades. Good find. Also, whats with Spock? Cheers, Ulahn

Ulahn, it's not mine, unfortunately, and all I know about it is pretty much what I posted . . . except I think the owner said he'd paid 1200 pounds for it at an auction. And I just always liked Evil Spock from the Mirror, Mirror episode.
