Howdy folks!

I've been a long time listener, first time caller as it were! I'm pretty pleased with what I have right now, so figured I'd throw it out there; most of this has had some level of customization, so some of the figures with regards to dimensions, POB etc will differ from factory. My main period of interest is the Viking age, but really anything between the 8th and 14th century.
All balance points given are from the crossguard (excluding langets) on swords or butt on pole weapons. All pics are links to larger versions.
I'll start with Swords!

Up top is the Hanwei Tinker Great Sword of War.

Weight: 3lb 11.5oz
POB: 5"
OAL: 47 1/4"
Blade Length: 35 3/4"

Next up is a heavily modified Windlass Steelcrafts Sword of Roven:

Weight: 3lb 2oz
POB: 7"
OAL: 47 1/4"
Blade Length: 37 3/4"

Last is the Deepeeka Triple-Lobed Godfred. This was a project from the start, and still has a lot of finishing work to do on the blade:

Weight: 2lb 4.2oz
POB: 4 3/4"
OAL: 32.5"
Blade Length: 26.5"

Next up is the pole weapons:

I love axes

A Windlass Leaf Blade spear.
Weight: 3lb

The big axe is the Cold Steel Viking Axe:

Weight: 4lb 12.5oz

This one is I think an Allan Foundry Ship Builders axe.

Cold Steel Pipe Tomahawk
Weight: 1lb 13.3oz

I really like your mods to the Roven sword, completely unique. How did you modify the cross, it looks completely different than the stock? Or is the cross not at all stock? Bryan - It is the stock cross on the Roven sword, but I forged the terminals flat to achieve something like an oakeshotte type 5 cross. I'm very pleased with how it affected the overall look of the sword - I also heated the pommel just so it would match, but did not forge it. The new grip core took (IIRC) about 1" off the length, and I think it feels a bit better for it - it handles like a true hand and a half, great with one or both hands

LemuelTheLemur - thanks! The Roven is a nice sword, and it was fun to customize. I'm probably going to peen the tang over (the 'peen block' on the end is actually a nut, I had to grind the sides flat so I could grip it with a wrench) as I haven't touched it in quite a while and it does get a little loose if I use it a lot. That should finish it all rather nicely

Jussi, I would like to personalize the GSOW as well, but I'm not sure how exactly - I love this style of blade, so I don't want to change anything about it, but I could see me making a new cross and pommel for it down the road - maybe a brazil nut pommel to make it look like a very early GSoW. I could definitely see a new core and grip wrap in the future, I think a few turks head knots would look great in place of risers - maybe one in the middle and one at either end. As much as I love waisted grips, I don't think it would be appropriate on this sword, though maybe if I saw it I would change my mind

A wood core scabbard would definitely be another possible project for this one, that's a process I enjoy!
