Living in Australia I can't import karambits thanks to customs, so I was extremely lucky to find this import that got through before the ban. (My baby in the attached photo) I want to add an emerson wave feature to it so I can single hand deploy from my pocket, before I ruin the only karambit left in the country would anyone know how to integrate it in? Rough drawings or anything? That's the wave feature the little bit of metal on the spine, it catches onto the pocket during the draw to open the knife. Attachments:

I did a similar thing with my Spyderco Harpy,I just cut half of the hole out.It acts like a wave and i can open it by pulling it out of a pocket (makes a great bottle opener too) Your karambit has a similar hole to my Spyderco so I can't see why it wouldn't work, though it does mean you'll have to cut what is now a very rare knife in Australia. The only other thing I can think of is making a seperate piece on the top like a thumb bar or clip with the wave feature, shouldn't be too hard to make.

Absolute apologies for this being so late, took me a while before I could get to it. I'm quite happy with the result, got some cleaning up to do but it definitely opens one handed from my pocket. The wave is AWESOME! Attachments:
