Greetings,
I’ve migrated over to this board after lurking for a small time as I have enjoyed the conversation, camaraderie, and respect that this board presents. I recognize some familiar names here from the old days of swords on other message boards and it is good to know where folks ended up.
I also joined this board to offer some of the last pieces of my Japanese style sword collection that I currently have available. With a new family and my interests shifting, it makes sense for me to send along portions of my older collection for people to appreciate and enjoy.
My original interest in swords focused heavily on Japanese style blades beginning around 1997, but within the last 7 years I have migrated over to mostly antique items with a concentration on nihonto, gendaito, shinsakuto, and specific styles of knives (like Hinderer, William Henry, and Microtech). With that said, I do still have some interest in Japanese style blades and am always eager to learn what the US smiths are up to and producing.
Thanks for the opportunity to post and I look forward to some good conversation.
Kind regards

Hi eric,
I recognize you from another forum. Nice to see you here. I'm still kinda quiet but trying to break free...lol. This is a good place to do it for me. Real open folks here.
Bob
