Hi Has anyone seen these? Looks like they could be more than just a wall hanger! Made by Ryan Sword's which has some reviews as a sword maker here on this site. I was wondering if I purchased a Dojo Pro of slimier size and swapped out the blades if it could be made into a functional chopper (or dose it even need to be swapped out), just thought I'd ask as I really like the looks of it Here's the link www.ebay.com/itm/Full-functional ... 338291c7f7

Sorry my search foo is weak
Still though it would be nice if you could switch out the blade for a good sub $300.00 chopper from a Dojo Pro

That sword is a knockoff. The hero sword you see in the series was made by Mark Gryzbowski of Ollin Swords and will be produced by Kit Rae (Not exactly my first choice, or last). You can check out Marks production notes here. I'd say your best bet is to get something that matches the dimensions and have it custom mounted. Get the best blade you can afford even if you have to wait. I'm not up on Japanese blades but Hanwei is a good place to start. If you do it this way you'll have something your sure is functional and will last.
