I was wandering youtube and in the suggested videos I saw this Last Airbender sword video, checked it out and then the channel.
Sokka's Meteor Sword (The Last Airbender) - MAN AT ARMS
What first made me notice3 the video was "Meteor sword" in the title, then the Last Airbender, I loved that show.
Channel's own description: "Every week, our master swordsmith and renowned propmaster Tony Swatton forges iconic weapons from video games, TV, comics, and movies. Want to see your favorite weapon get made? Tune in every Monday to see what comes out of the oven next!"
I have to say I have only watched a few of the channel's videos but so far pretty cool to see these fantasy swords come to life. I was a little disapointed to see the issues that developed in the use of actual meteor metal and that he welded on the tang. However still a very cool channel and I subbed it to check out more each week.

i love this show! i felt that the tip was to abrupt on this one but its cool that he used a real meteor for the cool factor.
and honestly there's nothing wrong with welding the tang on so long as it is done correctly.

From what he was saying about trouble with the meteor metal I suspect the welding of a tang was actually done for better security than full tang with meteor metal. He just sort of zoomed past this issue with little explanation.
Definitely a cool channel, and I look forward to seeing more from them.

it sure looked like he did have trouble there getting it to weld to normal steels...
