I picked this sword up at a Chinese grocery store in my neighborhood - saw it in the window and knew I had to have it It appears to be pretty low end, but it does have a full threaded tang assembly. The blade looks to be about 18 inches - I'm no expert in Chinese swords, but isn't that too short for a typical Dao? It's almost like a Chinese Wakizashi. I've looked online quite a bit, and I can't find anything like it, so I have no idea who makes it. I'm assuming it is straight from China, but it would be nice to know from what company it came.
