My fiancee thinks I am nuts, but I am building armour for my two dogs eventually. Basing it off extant horse armour, with a head and chest covering out of leather, and a scale blanket out of canvas with fishing lures sewn to it. I feel like they might just win a few halloween contests with that.

Okay, I really want to get armor for my cat now. He'd claw my arms to shreds if I actually tried to put it on him, but that would look awesome once in place.

two words: AWE SOME! I have had many pet rats. I would just love to put them in that stuff. could you imagine a cat's reaction to armor? LOL I mean most cats fall over and walk all dizzy-wobbly if you just put a collar on them. I know it's just an act because it's undignified but that's a cat for you. my cat might actually let me put her in armor though. she is a very patient long-suffering cat.

That armor Wicked!! My wife would kill me if I spent money or time on that. But I can name four people (not on this board) that would scoop that stuff up like candy just as conversation pieces.

Basing it off extant horse armour, with a head and chest covering out of leather, and a scale blanket out of canvas with fishing lures sewn to it. I feel like they might just win a few halloween contests with that. If you can find it, the Han Dynasty Chinese armoured their Chow Battalions. Yes. Chow "Battalions." As in, reportedly, the Han Emperors kept 10-20 Thousand Chows for the express purpose of using them in battle as a unit.
