I have been visiting this forum for a while as a guest and I finally signed up!

I am quite new to swords and my knowledge of them is scarce, but I do have a few books I am reading now, such as Records of the Medieval Swords by Ewart Oakeshott. I hope to learn a lot more by participating and hopefully contributing what I can.

Last week I took delivery of a John Barnett Claymore and what can I say, I am hooked! It looks to be the first of many!

mrstabby: Been thinking the same - but the person that set up the page might not be there anymore and old code gets messy when not maintained. Might be a "repair subscriptions, destroy function X, repair X, destroy Y" situation by now - would mean a total overhaul. Nov 18, 2024 7:29:27 GMT
