Hello. I'll try to keep this short, because I don't feel like typing up the gargantuan post that this would otherwise become. I am planning on ordering a helmet from Bestarmour.com sometime in the future. I am not sure on which one just yet, although these ones looks good/cool/awesome: www.bestarmour.com/pappenheimka1.htmNow, they state (or used to, since before they updated their FaQ, though I assume that it still stands) that they can alter the models shown if you provide them with good enough blueprints and an increase in cost, IF the alteration in question is historically authentic. So, how did the bases used to fasten plumes look like and work? My helmet in question would need two of those placed next to each other with some space in between, since I am planning on fastening a pair of (synthetically made, this time around) long feathers that will arch down behind me and end somewhere around my lower legs. Let me know if I have provided too little information, I accidentally do that sometimes. Thanks for your time!
