Hi -
I haven't posted here much, but figured it would be a good place to ask. I'm poking around for a two-handed Jian. Aside from Zhiswords, the only ones I've found have either been sheet metal and plastic sorts, or extremely expensive ones (>$1000, and I know, that might be a requirement for something good, but I'll take my chances with the Zhiswords one before I go that high).
Has anyone come across two-handed Jian for sale in their searches? I'm willing to look at the expensive ones as well, mind.
Thanks. :)

Thanks - seen that one. Sad to say, I'm not sold on it.
Aaaand...I've just realized that one of the threads below is talking about looking for a two-handed Jian. Probably should have searched.... ^_^

I must say, I did search on google previous to this. I probably should have searched here, as well. Thanks for the assistance. ^_^

Sinoswords has 2-handed jians. You can go with one of their Han jians, or customize another style to your liking.
$500 or less (determined by options), including shipping.
Mine has a real ebony scabbard, real silver fittings, twistcore (which includes a custom smelt rather than stock steel), Differential Hardening, and a few other things I forget here. Ran me about $500, shipped.

There is also Jin-Shi who can make a very nice jian for you into a 2-hander with custom measurements like SinoSword.

hey Ted, there is the Hanwei Chinese Cutting Sword by Scott Rodell! Although it is meant for single-hand use, the handle is pretty long at over 7 inches. It's a very well balanced jian imho!
