yes it is groud in with my cheep belt sander lol. i did a mod to it to let me use the upper wheel for this limits the size of the fuller but still works good though for a 1.5 inch wide sword.
i am shooting for a viking type 1 blade and not sure on the pummel or gaurd yet but i have something im working in though.
thank you..
i think for future swords im going to make a fullering tool and then do finish grinding on it.

band saw isnt required, just a good angle grinder

yeah i know just a band saw works better for some of the cuts how ever the forge on the other hand can make the best use of the material i have i made a dagger out of a 1 inch wide chink of steel and i widended it out to 1.1 inch and made it like 1 or so inches longer and took the 4 in section and made it 5 inches long for the tang with a nice thick heavy taper..

When you finally get a good band saw you will really like it. Far better than an angle grinder. You will save money by not having to buy cut off wheels. A bandsaw blade will last a long time if you get a good one. No more explosing cut off wheels. Your cuts will be more even and you will be able to do gentle curves.
