I picked this Hanwei Rapier up in a sword lot that I bought. I do mostly Japanese weapons but and I am less familiar with rapier. Does anyone know what model rapier this is? I have had my fun with it and want to sell it but I don't like to try and sell things that I have not identified... It always lost me money in Diablo..

Any help would be appreciated.

My Hanwei Solingen Rapier looks like the one picture below, it looks very similar, hilt wire-wrap is slightly different on the ends, slight variation in the pommel shape (customized slightly perhaps?) but I reckon its the one as Dave suggested.

Hanwei SH1027 Swept Hilt Rapier. I think it has been off production for a while I guess. Blake would probably know how long it's been gone.

Bright Blades seemed to be the only place that I could find by Google that had a picture of it: brightblades.com/products/fencin ... ier-black/
