Just got her a week ago. Sweetest little blade I've ever owned. Lite and sharp as a razor.

As far as a review goes, it's lite, sharp and quick in the hand. Great for home defense or trimming the verge. Now here is another nice piece, this one is a Persian influenced fighter by Ray Ennis of Entrek Knives. Also a nice little razor. Ray's heat treat makes for the most well behaved 440C I've ever seen. These will be my bug out blades

I keep considering buying a rucki, is the spine of the blade pretty thick?

I held and played with a rucki (but not cut with) a few weeks back, it has nice balance and presence, not sure on the value for $$$ but the non sword guy who bought it was happy with it, and I would get one if they were a little less expensive. Overbuilt to some degree, but fun.

The spine is 0.1875" (3/16") thick. May not seem very thick for a sword, but this sucker is built tough, and can take blows that would bend/break thicker blades.
As far as bang for your buck value, I think it's quite worth it. The SR101 steel is a great value for what you're getting. I've blasted through cardboard and not had to sharpen it yet. Not to mention the Busse Family's great warranty. I was skeptical going into Bussekin, but after I picked up a Scrapyard 1311 and a Swamp Rat Rodent 9, I became a believer.
