I believe Zhiswords also makes jian in octogonal cross section.

Sinosword has octagonal cross-section 2-handed jian for low prices if you don't want folded steel. They also claim that their typical Han Jian don't suffer from "Hollow Grip Syndrome," which makes most Han Jian completely unsafe to use until redoing the grip. The pics show pins (mekugi) in the grips. If you go with them, you must do a review of the grip. Do Not get the Chen Ying Jian at this time unless you are ready to redo the grip. Any other Han Jian should be fine, but we need a review. sinosword.com/Product/?partsort=100002Edited for correction. I was talking about Sinosword, not Jin-Shi

Try Huawei, they have a folded version currently listed but they might make a mono steel version for you. Folded version - www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOP-QUALITY- ... 416cd92da7
