Yeah, saw that over at Zombiehunters forum. I don't really like the sword, actually. The blade's alright though still rather crude looking but what really irks me are spikes. I don't care if it looks cool, even a fun apocalypse weapon should be designed with practicality first and foremost in mind. The "pommel nut" is also not up my alley... The cutting is cool though. They guy uses the blade more like a club but with his strength it clearly does the job

Not the worst ideas I've seen. I do like his point that it would be a bad idea for an attacker to try and wrench the sword from your grip...ouch! But equally bad if you aren't careful drawing it or even forgot and bent over for something without moving it out of the way...again...ouch! I have looked through a lot of so called zombie apocalypse gear online and I'm not seeing too many (or any) slingshots. I think they would be great for survival since they don't need batteries or a lot of maintenance or even ammo when there are rocks around. I'm actually liking the idea of a slingshot/survival knife combo.
