so it seems like every word i search for comes back as having too many results i get this message
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: iaito. You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.
am i searching wrong? and is there something else i can do to get better results thanks

It doesn't work really well for me either... don't know if we do something wrong, or if it is the search engine that should be improved...

It could be the search engine you're using. I've been using Metacrawler for a LONG time now, it's a search CRAWLER, and uses the search engines Google, Yahoo, and Yandex (the newer Russian search engine, pretty good!). There are other search crawlers, I check them out every few months, but I think Metacrawler is still the best. Why use a single search engine when you can use 3 or more at once? Try it, then maybe use it as your primary. When I put in "iaito", I get what I should. A lot of recognizable sites and company names ...
