Anyone had any experience with these www.medieval-fightclub.com/produ ... agews.html ? I've already sent off any email requesting for photos with someone wearing them and what gauge the steel is. They look pretty good and purport to be "100% battle ready" and the price isn't too bad particularly for an Australian retailer. Thanks guys Paul From iPhone

I don't much care for the look. They don't look like steel in the pics. And being listed specifically for re-enactors...

Not sure about these now, I like the look and they could easily be given a satin finish but I just got a reply advising that they are only 18ga but they also say that the "geometry and design that is important. They just don’t easily dent".

If you intend to fight in them, you'll hate them. They don't look like they articulate correctly, and besagews will drive you nuts flopping around. What are you trying to armor for, SCA or some other re-enactment? There are other options.
