Hey Guys, Anyone ever handled either the Icingdeath or Twinkle swords made by windlass? I thought they were pretty cool looking but I'm just wondering how they handle/feel. Thanks.

I found them to be a little tip heavy.

I agree with Trueswordsmans evaluation. I've had one sitting here since September in my personal 'review que' -(Twinkle). It looks nice enough, but the balance isn't right for an 'Elven sword'. Obviously wasn't excited or motivated enough to review it quickly... It's not a bad sword, but it could have been a whole lot better...

I don't know... I had borrowed the pair from a friend who was going to sell them to me (he lets me hold onto them for a day to see if i really like them... good friend). They are tip heavy, but I think they might make for good cutters if sharpened.

True enough, and they shouldn't be too hard to sharpen - I'll be getting around to doing so when I finally get around to reviewing it (but as it will need its own dedicated section, its still a few months off).
The other negative is the grip feels a bit sticky and plasticy. They aren't bad swords, but they aren't all that amazing either - pretty much a middle of the road piece in my opinion.

C'mon Paul! You can just stick the review here until you get a new page/section set up for it on SBG. We wont complain, I promise! I'd been thinking about Icingdeath. I like blades to be a bit tip-heavy, but it sounds like a big problem, not just a slightly higher POB. I await your review, Paul.
