Hi, I'd appreciate if you would help me identify the following swords in the pictures in which I have attached. Thanks, much appreciated.

Anyone have any ideas to what this sword is?

I think they are decorative swords from India. I've owned a pair of longer ones with different hilt, but blade was very similar and had light etched vine patterns on both sides. The longer ones are more common than the shorter ones I believe.

I'd go with wall hangers, but the first thing that popped into my head was "Hecho en Mexico". I've seen similar things from Mexico before. Boy, they are shiny, aren't they?
ETA: To my eye they look more like Bowie knives than swords, really.

They were on the wall and crossed over but since then were taken down 8 years ago, the swords themselfs are believed to have been gotten around 45 - 50 years ago.

They do say Made In India on each blade on one side and on other side a pattern.
