After reading the review of Valiant Armoury Warder, I decided that I simply needed to get one, even though it cost way more money than I should be spending on a sword right now. Unfortunate, the only place I can find one in stock is here, and having never heard of that store I am more than a bit wary. Any ideas as to where else I can look? I already tried to buy it from the SBG store and kult of athena among other places. |

Hove you tried to contact direct? custom-sword-shoppe.com/ not sure if actually in stock but I did read somewhere that new stock of most swords arnt far away. |

Well the sketchy shop I mentioned has the sword on back order, and Sonny is out of town, but will check the inventory when he gets back. Ugh!

I'd recommend giving him another call. He may have gotten caught up in things and simply forgot... A few times when I've had questions for him he advised me to call back if he hadn't replied in a timely fashion, so I'm sure he wouldn't mind hearing from you again.  -Slayer |

Well this is getting frustrating. I called a few days ago and only got an answering machine. I left a message, but I have yet to hear a response. I think this is the point where I move on and pick another sword  |

We're you able to make contact with anyone at the link Paul gave above? If your set on that blade, from that company, I would get an eta. Of when they might be back in production and consider just waiting for it? There are many good companies out there, it sounds like you really want this specific sword though.

I was under the impression that Sonny is focusing on clearing his backlog & not taking new orders right now. (Though I suspect that the new models are getting at least some of his attention.) It might be worth shooting him a message on Facebook...but, if he's busy, he's probably not spending a whole lot of time online.

I ordered a VA Malatesta in black at the end of March and just got an email saying it is shipping. Not bad time to get the sword.
I know totally different sword, but seems Sonny is getting on top of the orders and getting them out in a pretty timely manner, I was not expecting anything for another couple months yet due to hearing the back log VA has had from this forum. And yes I knew he was swamped when I placed my order, but was patient and figured I would get my sword when it was done, I have faith in Sonny and the work that he does, and felt it worth the wait to get a nice sword.
Now the waiting for the UPS guy is going to drive me nuts though. :lol:

I recently inquired on facebook about this stuff and sonny told me that they are currently out of stock. Part of me is now considering getting the Malatest over the Warder now. It's so hard to choose!

I got my Malatesta on Friday, and have to say I am loving it! Though even with reading all the reviews on it etc I still was amazed at how light, nimble, and well balanced it was. This is definitely one of those few swords that you just wont expect the handling that it gives until you experience it. I am planning to post up a little review once I get a little time in with it to really give more than initial impressions. |

Well Sonny said that he just had to finish up the belt and hilt last Thursday and that it would be shipping out next week. I can't wait for it to get here.
