Hello my name is Bryan, I'm 25 and currently enrolled semi-full time at my local university. My history with swords is classical training in kendo, and tinkering with friends who have trained in European styles of fencing. I joined this site after realising that just because I know how to train with swords doesn't mean I know jack all about what ones are good, and which ones are duds. I assumed my knowledge with knives and the steel and sighing required for them, but WOW was I wrong. After an accident that force d me to retire both military, and martial arts I fell into a spiral and got rid of most of my collection. So here I am hoping to Learn n from some of your experience's and move forward.
I look forward to making some new friends, and obviously gaining some knowledge from all of you.
I'm curious if this site has a special place to lost items one would be looking for.. anyways, thank you.

Hi, Bryan. Welcome to ye, hope you hang around for a long time. It's good to hear about your training, but sad that you had to sell your toys. I know how that goes. After you read through the review section on what's good, bad, and kinda questionable, be sure to ask for opinions before you buy anything, if you still have any doubts. I'm new here, but I already feel bad for someone who bought a POS. If you scroll down to the Classifieds, there's a section for Wanted stuff. Seeya around. Take care. - TW

Hi Deadbolt. Welcome to the forum. Also sorry to hear you lost your collection, but looking at the bright side, here you are at the right spot to start all over. Like Timberwolf said, read the reviews and we are all here to answer any questions. Cheers, Ulahn.

Thanks for the replies! I've read through the review section a bit last night, some well educated opinions on here. No doubt.
I'll have a peak at the wanted section, but that isn't just for people selling their own collection is it?
Thanks again.

Welcome to the asylum Deadbolt! The classifieds section is broken into sections for folks who are selling, folks looking for stuff, and member feedback. So, if your looking for something, best throw a post into that forum. That being said, keeping an eye out in the For Sale forum is a great way to trip across some great deals, and possible find something your looking for.
