Greetings! New member here...thought I'd kick off my first post with a link to this: www.albion-swords.com/swords/albion/late/sword-vivamus.htmA little bit out of my price range but it sure would be one heck of an addition to my meager collection. Now if one of the quality sword manufacturers would run off an accurate replica of one (or even all 12) of the Swords of Power from the Saberhagen books.

I drool, I slobber, I whimper and whine, but . . . . alas! I will not be buying!
*sigh*

Wow. That's quite the sword.
I'd never heard of the Saberhagen books, are they any good?

Fred Saberhagen wrote a couple of series that revolve around 12 swords of power - each with unique attributes - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Books_of_Lost_SwordsThis link describes the swords en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Swords_of_PowerIt's been quite a while since I read the series but as I recall, the books were decent blend of science fiction and fantasy. Looking over the info in the links, I realize that I never read the books that preceded the two Book of Swords series - something else to order from amazon. A reproduction of one of the swords would be interesting - especially if the metal work could match that described in the books.
