There is a sword I am in the negotiation stage of buying that I have a question of. The current owner says he picked it up in the Wudang Village in Hubei, near Shiyan. His translator was not the best, so he knows very little about it. He's only ever seen one other like it.

Does anyone know of a forge there? I've tried googling and all I've come up with is the martial arts school.

Can't help you with it. And it's unlikely to be a reputable forge. That said, the translator was apparently bad so it's possible he meant forged then brought to Wudang. In which case its origins are highly variable
