Just got a Hanwei Tinker GSOW from Kult of Athena. The site labelled it as sharp but it's so dull I can almost safely run my finger on the edge and not get cut. It seems to be somewhat sharp but I am sure it won't cut well. What's the best way to sharpen this thing up? Please if possible provide details. I get confused on this subject. Thanks!

You have to remember that sharp is a somewhat relative concept; and a blade can be sharp enough for its intended job without feeling particularly sharp. That said, I have gotten some pretty dull blades that were advertised/labeled as sharp (razor sharp, in some cases). I have never handled a Hanwei blade, so I cannot comment on how sharp their "sharp" blades really are; but my first suggestion is to try it before you condemn it - you might be surprised. Be realistic in your expectations, though - this is a medieval war sword, not a katana, or dedicated trick cutter. Choose your targets accordingly.
My second suggestion is that, if you find the sword really isn't sharp enough to do the job, you should review the responses in the other threads you have posted asking for sharpening advice. It appears that you've read/viewed the various tutorials, and been given some good advice from experienced people. There comes a point when you just have to suck it up & jump into the job. It really is something that you only "get" by doing (and doing, and doing, and doing).
I will add - since I remember you asking about KOA's sharpening service - that when they sell blades already listed as sharp, that means they are sharpened by the manufacturer...so the GSOW is Hanwei sharp, not sharpened by KOA.

Sharp is always relative to what you are used to, my sister dos not like my kitchen because everything designed to cut is really sharp, yet my children have no problem.
