My impression is that A&A makes good swords, and kick ass rapiers. Off the top of my head Sean, Zach Luna and Dave Kelly are all fans of A&A rapiers----that's good enough in my book.

Hey Ric: www.myarmoury.com/review_aa_2ring.htmlBill Grandy review of an older model. My take on these rapiers is based on the blade on my Spanish Bell Guard. Thin blade. Well Tempered. Flexes thru the shaft and foible. You can always call Craig Johnson at A&A and get his take.

A&A makes top of the line stuff and I find their handling to be excellent and probably the closest overall in feel to antiques short of high end customs.....though they'll do those as well.
One thing to note, their sharps are fine but I find their practice blades a bit stiff. They're usable and safe (and I use them for what its worth), but when hit by one you'll notice the difference a little. Still they feel more accurate than most things out there and they also have a variety of tip options depending on what kind of safety measures you use.
If you use them against lesser quality blades though I find they will chew them up a bit due to a combination of factors.
Craig is awesome and very helpful. His customer service is top-notch and I can't recommend A&A highly enough.
