That actually depends on the model he ordered.The Budo and RK have less edge profile and are sharper than the 1095 "beaters".

I would think you would use a beater for "aggressive" targets, and the RK for mats and more "competition" targets.
is still using CPM3V, aren't they?

After a bit more reading... yes your right. However the beater isn't as sharp as a budo or rk so I wonder if Ricki would sharpen a beater a bit extra?
