we all know that brass is out cuz of the cost so i just thought ,,, weren,t a lot o celtic swords made from wood guard sections and either wood or bone hilts? so could gen 2 do theres in wood? then they may be able to do a even better version that looks more like a historical one ? dont get me wrong i got my brass one for X-mas and love it very much , but just some thoughts sense it unlikely that brass will come back.

Windlass has a new "Sword of Troy" which strongly resembles the Celtic sword, including the leaf-shaped blade. The wooden handle and wooden knob pommel are similar to some Roman swords. The guard and pommel nut are bronze. Not exactly what you describe, but close, and a handsome sword in its own right.
