Concord -- accord -- agreement -- unity Not revolution, but I got your attention. I was rummaging through my photo archive and found a few which reveal a "harmony" between firearm and support system. I always carry a knife to assist in weapon retention. A K-Bar TDI or Cold Steel Push Dagger (as shown here) can function admirably in this role. Even a folder, if the operator trains to deploy it quickly (inertial opening), can work, albeit more slowly. Enjoy! I have also experimented with K-Bar TDI, appendix carry left-side (weak side). It deploys very quickly. (Remember to get that index finger deep in the choil.)

Hello Larry
Nice pics, thanks for sharing them.
I especially like the ones with the CS push-dagger and the Ka-Bar TDI knife. I have the latter and it is a very easy to carry and use knife, I love it. The CS push-dagger seem to be the same kind of tool.
Edit : I'd add that the Spydercos that I own (the Endura and the Tenacious) probably would complement well a firearm ; they are both sturdy, easy to deploy knives that are very easy to wield.
