Hi Its made from 5160 steel, i usually buy a load of tatami in the summer to let all my sword have a cut at the expensive mats, so its just bottles to then.

Hi Its much sharper than i expected for this kind of sword, as i said about sharp as my Shura, but not as sharp as my LL MkII or my Taketoshi, Sharper than my Chen PFK, and about the same as my Kill Bill Bride sword, but with all production swords quality control can be a bit hit and miss, just look at the recent Practical Hand and a Half i had with a cracked blade! guess i was lucky this time or KC quality control is very good. When i next get it out for a cut i will try shaving some arm hairs to test it. mudguts
