I've been using this site for some time; but finally registered.
In introduction, I will admit that I was a recovering blade addict...but I fell off the wagon. I collected knives for years, and still have "a bunch". I've had a longtime fascination with swords; but, kept only a small number...and was satisfied until I was offered a few in trade. That rekindled the fire, and here I am.
As far as experience, my actual training was long enough ago that I might as well disqualify it. Call me a beginner. I've been handling them more of late, getting used to the feel again; but I've only used a few for cutting...and it will probably stay that way. I like leaving most of them unused and unmarred - being happy simply to HAVE them. I'm waiting on the delivery of a few new pieces, then I'll put together a collection thread.
Other than knives and swords, I'm a bit of a workaholic with a hobby/business (snake breeding) that sucks up my free time. Throw in a couple of dogs and motorcycles, and a bad case of insomnia - mix with some good bourbon - and that's me in a nutshell.
