Does anyone know if the Gen 2 8th Century Viking Sword, IP-O33-2, is available? I can only find it on the Imperial Weapons website, were it says "due to arrive in January", however now that it is February, the page does not clearly state whether it is actually in stock or not. Alternatively, does anyone own this sword? What do you think of it?

We are now suppose to get some in the middle to end, and more likely the end of this month. ;D I hope this helps....

hey Clyde I heard that you had more sword designs from the late mr.Reinhardt how are those going? Yes, we are in the finalization with the Reinhardt Estate (Contract Language) then we will move forward. Once agreed and signed, we move forward. But we do have some Henry Vths on this order coming, but only 1 or 2. I already gave Adam Sharp OK if he wants one that he will get it and if we have 2 coming then 1 will still be available. We also have a few coming of the Seaxe knife that will match the Witham Viking. First I will have to have it OK'd with the Estate. Once they give their blessing it will be available as well. And yes we have another go at the Falchion that is coming in as well. Once I look at it and it is OK, I will let the Estate look at it and once they give their OK, we will run with it as well. Several items coming, but we have to follow contract agreements.

Is the grip still bare hardwood on the new model, or is it covered in leather? Kind of hoping for bare hardwood. The leather cover on, for example, Windlass Sticklestad sword rather spoils an otherwise attractive design, at least for me.
