just finished up a hunting trousse i have been working on for a couple of weeks on and off, its made from stainless steel shelving brackets cut up to form the blades, they are hellishly sharp cut through 2mm thick leather without slowing down here they are and in scabbard i made for the set to carry around the longest blade (cleaver ) is 13 inches long the shortest (eating knife) is just seven the handle scales are made from pine glued to a full tang then screws were screwed through the materials and cut flush with the wood on the three big blades (felt that the knife and fork didn't need it), then stained the wood with raven oil and clear coated it to give an aged look to the wood, hope you guys like em as much as i do, this was a project i have had in mind for literally years since i first saw a picture of a hunting trousse in the royal armourys weapon book Attachments:

thank you both i put a lot of thought into these over the years to come up with this i was pleased, as for using what i had thats kind of what i do  figure anyone can buy steel to make something but takes a lot more creativity to make something with what you have
