Looking at their 2013 line I was surprised to see the "Tactana". Condor has a reputation for quality, affordability and toughness with their machetes and knives, so I will be waiting to see how this one turns out. Machetes are one thing but I'm not a huge fan of the black blade coating on a sword, but that can be dealt with. I'm wondering what price point this will be sold at (their Dynasty Dadao can be had for under $80) and if it will be nicely balanced or not. My Condor Parang was a beast and an amazing value, but it had almost no taper and was super front heavy. The micarta should be nice, too.

How did Tactana never get used as a name by Cold Steel? In all seriousness I would love to play with it, micarta handles means you can sand them to your liking. Dont expect this to be available till near the end of the year though...

Seems like a fun beater blade, like most of Condor products. I have oen of their Mountain Knife and it is one big fun blade to play with.

Saweet. I have purchased 4 of the combat machetes over the last few years and they are really solid and hold an edge well. We beat the poop out of them.

I feel like the market is missing a really good tactical katana. Something in the 250 range with a 1080 steel blade, G10 scales, and a HI on both sides.
