www.kultofathena.com/images%5CAB0314BK_7_l.jpgI have to be mad man, this is a piece of junk added to KOA that made me flamed up again! Sorry guys but I MUST tell you guys this... look at the photo, what the hell is that? The bagwa tells you the sword is a piece of junk, the designer don't even want to spend time to MAKE the whole bagwa on the CNC or something? They just made 4 symobols and FLIP it around and duplicate it to complete the 8??? What the hell is this?! This is not a bagwa!!!! Can you see?! This is suppose to be the pre-heaven bagwa they are trying to use, but now what the hell is on the KOA sword? This is just a BIG FLAW again! They got the taichi diagram turning the right way, but it is also not correctly placed on the bagwa! sigh! When can sword manufacture start to do some research or google-work? How hard is it to make the sword abit more flawless? With that kind of price, I can see it's a "rush product" to fool those who doesn't know about swords and the bagwa stuff. too bad. You can see - no pegs or anything too, wow, how dangerous with just a nut holding the whole thing together in one piece?

Looks like about what you would get for a sub 150 functional Chinese sword. I could see an issue on a higher end model. www.kultofathena.com/product.asp ... Yang+Jian+

Okay, first of all, this is not Kult of Athena's fault. They didn't make this sword; they are just a retailer, and they sell anything from pure junk to finely crafted treasures.
Second: This is mostly an aestetic issue. The fact that they messed up the bagwa says nothing about the functional quality of the sword, aside from the fact that it uses very cheap fittings.
Third: It's an unspecified Longquan-made jian for 150 bucks. So, no, you probably shouldn't expect it to be flawless. Or even especially good. In fact, you'll be lucky if it's even decent. Point is, if you are shopping for swords in this price range you probably shouldn't be too picky.

Sorry, I just have to clarify this - I am not mad at KoA, I am just pissed at such a piece of junk.
