Starting to see the difference now.... Look at the ugly fullers on the second one. It has knock-off written all over it.

I would venture to say "no," if only for very minute differences that could very well be KoA's craptastic photography. For instance, the Windlss' fullers are different, unless it's a trick of light in the photo. They look wider, and longer... Not to mention the pommel and guard are a much better effort on the Windlass. The grip, as well, seems different. Unless, of course, crappy pictures. My bet is cheap knockoff that ALMOST made it. I can't imagine it 1) fetching only $70 2) not being sorted with the Windlasses. I took far to long to analyze as I was typing. They're different as far as I can tell.

Definitely. I'm not a member at My Armoury (maybe I should fix that?) so I couldn't see all the fancy hi-def shots; everything I said was judged by thumbnail comparison. Even then it was obvious.

Fullers are one tip off, but there are some other, more subtle differences.
They don't look the same to me.

the scabbard is different and the cross on the pommel looks like it has flared ends on the windlass...the KOA one doesnt seem to. Ive actually held this sword (the windlass)...very small dimensions...quite light but well balanced....my girlfriend wanted it and I like the look of it too, but it felt like I could break it with too much medium too heavy cutting. Thats true with many, if not all swords, I guess, but this one more so.

Not the same sword at all....really! I own the MRL crusader and the fuller and hilt are very different from the stainless steel model sold by KOA. Here are pics of the Windlass sword I own: This copy is the one that strongblade sells here: www.strongblade.com/prod/sba-dominuscrusader.htmlAs you can see these are not the same.

Oh wow, I never even drew the connection to Strongblade. I knew they made a similar sword (doesn't everybody?) but I'd never have put together that THAT sword was THEIR sword. That's quite a difference in price, though... I wonder about that...
