ok I'm getting the DSA Two Handed Gothic sword, but now I also wanna get a Generation 2 medieval sword because I heard that they were tough and durable as hell like the DSA swords.
Any recommendations?? Thankyou.

I'm lookin at a Witham Viking then a Black Prince, possibly followed by Templar. (But it will probably be a Chessess Ayame to start with).

They wont be nearly as durbale anymore, as the blades were thinned down. However, they are more historically accurate.

I got the old style Gen2 12th century sword. It's a big bad bastard and I like it a lot.

I think everyone will be surprised when the test results of the latest Gen 2 batch start to come out. I recently tested the Crusader fresh out of the forge and it had no issues what so ever. So now with Gen 2 you have a sub $300 sword with a peened pommel, historical weight and balance, and very strong. What more could anyone ask for?

Gunit- Can you be a little more specific? I need a good basic two handed practice or beater sword. What is going to be released, by whom and when? Anything worth waiting for? Lean on Paul for some more info. Surely he knows more than he is telling. He's one'a them Aussie blokes.

Yup got it from AoV when there were only 2 left in stock, got it sharpened. I am definitely gonna post a review with many pictures and cutting/sword abuse videos. The review is going to be less focused on the fit and finish, but more on the edge retention and durability of the blade, but after some abusive testing i will talk about the structural integrity of the fittings.
What is the difference between a threaded pommel/peened pommel and which one is betta?
