I keep coming back to look at that one. It's got some good length, and some healthy taper, but I wonder how thin the blade is and what the distal is like. It looks like a pretty healthy diamond, but that could mean little or nothing as for whippiness.
A quick spin in the 360 thingy makes it look pretty thin... I wonder if the guys at AoV have handled this one? I don't see it on the site, which isn't a good sign...
Anybody have one?

In my personal experience, a dispal taper helps eliminate a lot of the whippiness.

I liked the look of it when it came out too. Then I read some very negative things about it on SFI and myArmoury. Mike Arledge did a review of it and said it had almost zero blade presence. He described is as feeling like a regular sword hilt with a kid's plastic sword blade attached. And the pommel was massive and heavy, and seemed like a large door knob.
At least that's how I remember it... I could be wrong. If you're seriously interested in buying it, I suggest doing a search on myArmoury to read up on what others have said about it. I think there may be more than one thread about this sword there.

that review seems pretty plausible...that blade is pretty slender and yeah that pommel is overly large for the blade but if the quality is good i think it would make a fast thruster
