Hi, Though this does not fall within the sub-300 criteria of this forum, thought it's still good to share some pix with you guys... Some Stats of the Katzbalger: Overall Length: 36 1/2" Blade Length: 31" Blade Width (below Guard): 1 1/2" Blade Info: Round tip, fullered & unsharpened Guard: 5 1/4" x 4 1/2" (S-Shaped) Weight: 1.6kg (without scabbard) Here's some eye candies.... Very beautiful. Too bad about the tip though, maybe you could make it a "little" less spatualate ;D? I just karma'd you for the schiavona so you'll have to wait....

Not bad, Larry. Not bad at all. Think you'll ever sharpen it, or is this strictly display/reenactment stuff? It'd be a shame in my eyes if a sword like this never cuts anything.

random, it came unsharpen & I guess it'll remain so for a significant period of time because it's bought more for 'educational' & collection purposes; I like to introduce guests to my home the different sword types so that they are aware 'swords aren't just swords' .. besides, I lived in an apartment & don't have a backyard or garden to perform cuttings safely
