I just found this : www.coldsteel.com/category/19_1/Default.aspxA look at Cold Steel new products for this year. There's a new sub-hilt fighter with a 9'' bowie blade. A new serie of folders (but they look like slightly modified versions of 2012's Recon serie). A few new machetes, which include the return of the Barong (but with a new size and handle) and the arrival of a smatchet (YES! About time CS makes this old, little-known classic. Smatchets have all the manly, chopping power that would look great in a CS promo clip ). The Spike serie seems to have been reworked, they have different blade shapes and new handles (I prefer the newer handles, they seem to offer a better grip). There's a pair of brassknuckle knives and, finally, a new Talwar folder (much cheaper than the old one). Anyway, click on the link and enjoy

I like the looks of the new Spike knives (mainly the Bowie and Tokyo), as well as that Warcraft Tanto (if only it weren't so pricy), but I'm near ecstatic that they're bringing back the Bowie Machete; I missed my chance to get one the first time 'round and I don't mean to again... Now if only they'd bring back the 18" model, as well.

I liked the Barong a lot, but the brass-knuckle knives... Epic 'meh'. Trying a little too hard for the 'tacticool' crowd or something for my taste.
No swords in this batch? (machetes don't count...)
Edit to add, I looked again and there's the lefty cutlass. Why, I wonder, since they don't make lefty sabers, and somehow I doubt the USN cared that much about lefties back in the 1910's... Oh well, it's their money. Nice to see that the poleaxe is coming back, though, and the Code 4 folders are a nice simple design. Kinda like the clip-point plain blade version...

Thx for posting this link I'm loving the MARAUDER 9in blade that is one to get. I also like the BOWIE MACHETE for $30 you can't go wrong. The Warcraft Tanto is sweet but at that price I would rather get a felon or a another blade from Zombie Tools.

That marauder looks nice (though I'm pretty sure they just mated the espada xl blade pattern to the oss hilt)

CS Smatchet: I remember doing a shot in the dark thing 2 years ago. I sent a photoshoped image of an Al Mar Smatchet blade in a CS Peacekeeper Handle to their 'tanto1' customer feedback email. Did'nt get anything back. Maybe they finally had enough hounding to do a Smatchet and in the Machete line thats a fairly good choice. Of course I'd totally go a Carbon (or even San Mai III) proper version but I suppose if machete version sales go well they might consider it. But the original Smatchet did have a thin blade not much more than the standard 2.8mm CS Machete blade stock (although it was a full flat grind and polished for ultimate slicing power). But hey good contemporary start. I'll definately get one.

I thought their katana machete was already two handed? Is this "new" one just bigger?
